  1. Opening Hours
    Monday to Friday 8.30am – 7.00pm
    Saturdays 8.30am – 12.30pm
  2. Fees
    We are a Bulk Billing practice and we will Bulk Bill all Medicare rebatable Consults.

    Non medical rebate able consults will be privately billed.

    We accept payment by cash, EFTPOS, Visa, Mastercard and Amex.

    A standard consult is 10 minutes, please let the receptionist know is a longer appointment will be required.

    Newborns without medicare cards are billed privately.

    If you are unable to attend please ring at least two hours before your appointment time.

    No out of pocket cost for Care plans, Mental health care plans, Vaccines & Immunisations.

    All Childhood Vaccinations & Immunisations are free.

  3. New Patients
    We will require that all new patients complete a new patient form below, which is downloadable from our website. Please bring along to your appointment.

  5. After Hours
    Primary Care Medical Centre provides after hour care. To reach a doctor after hours please call the practice on (07) 4124 3881 and press 1.
  6. Home Visits
    Primary Care Medical Clinic will offer home visits both within and out of normal operating hours if the patient is a regular patient of the practice and where it is reasonable to do so. There will be out of pocket cost for Home Visits.
  7. Test Results
    Test Results are usually available 2-3 days after the yet has been done through some might take a longer time. Results are made available by follow up appointments.

    It is a policy of the practice not to give results over the phone for confidentiality reasons.

  8. Waiting Times
    Our doctors will endeavour to run on time m however there are circumstances beyond their control that makes it impossible. Such circumstances include but not limited to Emergency cases, seriously ill patients and injured patients

    The reception staff will inform patients of any wait times.

  9. Scripts & Referrals
    It is a general policy of Primary Care Medical Clinic that all repeat prescriptions or specialist referrals require an appointment with your regular doctor.
  10. Reminders
    Our practice uses reminder systems to improve the quality of your health care. We belief in preventative care and health reviews.

    We will send reminders by phone calls or letters.

    If you so not wish to be contacted, please let reception staff know.

  11. Telephone & Electronic Communication
    Our Doctors can be contacted by phone during normal opening hours.

    If the doctor is busy, a message will be taken. In case of an emergency, the call will be put through to the doctor.

    Communication via email is discouraged, as doctors might not check their email during work hours.

  12. Updating Your Records
    Please contact us when there is any changes to your home address, work address, mobile number, medicare number, concessions card such as Pension or Health Care Cards and next of kin. It is important that we have your updated details incase of an emergency or to notify of test results.
  13. Privacy
    A copy of our privacy policy can be viewed or downloaded here. A copy is also available in reception.
  14. Patient Feedback
    We are always happy to get feedback from our patients. Feedback can either be positive or negative, that is how we can improve our services to you.

    A suggestion box is in reception area for that purpose. If there are any complaints, please call and discuss with the Practice Manager on (07) 4124 3881.
