Dr. Olulope, affectionately known as Sola, serves as the Practice Principal of Primary Care Medical Clinic. With nearly 30 years of experience in medicine, he has garnered a wealth of knowledge and exposure to a wide range of presentations in general practice. His areas of expertise include skin cancer medicine, surgical procedures, orthopedics, geriatrics, maternal and child health.
He earned his degree from the University of Lagos, Nigeria in 1994 and attained Fellowship status with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2006. Relocating from Lesotho in Southern Africa to Australia in 2003, Dr. Olulope has since become deeply involved in the medical community.
Dr. Olulope has pursued multiple training and certification programs in skin cancer medicine offered by the University of Queensland and Bond University. He has obtained diplomas in Dermoscopy, Skin Cancer Medicine, and Skin Cancer Surgery, integrating these specialized skills into his clinical practice for many years. With a commitment to achieving zero defects and optimal cosmetic outcomes for his patients, he practices the fine art of skin surgery.
Since 2009, Dr. Olulope has served as a GP supervisor, trainer, external clinical teacher, and examiner with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, as affiliated with James Cook University. Despite his extensive experience, he remains an avid reader and dedicated learner, continuously updating his knowledge and skills in medicine and beyond.
He strongly believes, “To remain relevant and updated in medicine, you don’t stop learning; the growth of modern medicine stretches you beyond all limits, and you never graduate from the real and borderless University of Medicine.”
Beyond his professional endeavors, Dr. Olulope is a man of faith who holds a deep love for God, his family, and people. He enjoys writing, particularly poetry and music. He is an Arsenal fan who loves soccer and tennis. He is happily married to his lovely wife, Fola, and they are blessed with three beautiful children.
