Dr Maria Javed is a caring and dedicated doctor with more than seven years experience in hospital medicine and general practice.
Dr Javed moved to Australia in 2023 and has since gained experience working across the Hervey Bay and Maryborough hospitals, completing rotations in a range of medical specialties. She also holds a Master of Global Public Health from Griffith University, Gold Coast, which has further strengthened her interest in preventative healthcare and promoting health and wellbeing. She also holds a diploma in anaesthesiology.
Dr Javed enjoys the variety of general practice and takes a patient-centred approach to care. She believes in listening to her patients, understanding their individual needs and working together to provide personalised, evidence-based care.
Her areas of interest include chronic disease management, women’s health , preventative health and general medicine.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, enjoy spending time in nature and exploring new places.
