Dr Naing Min Htut is a skilled and compassionate general practitioner with over 10 years of clinical experience. He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2015 and completed his Australian Medical Council (AMC) certification in 2025. He has worked continuously across hospital and general practice settings in Myanmar, the Maldives, and Australia, and is committed to delivering comprehensive, patient-centred care.
He previously worked as a Resident Medical Officer at Bundaberg Base Hospital for two and a half years. During this time, he gained broad and valuable experience across multiple specialties, including internal medicine, emergency medicine, cardiology, surgery, orthopaedics, women’s health, and child health. This diverse hospital background has strengthened his clinical skills and supports his holistic approach to managing both acute and chronic conditions in general practice.
He enjoys all aspects of general practice and has a particular interest in chronic disease management, preventive health, and continuity of care across all stages of life. He is committed to ongoing professional development and practises in accordance with RACGP standards, with a focus on delivering evidence-based, compassionate, and high-quality general practice care.
Dr Htut is fluent in English and Burmese, and places strong emphasis on clear communication, shared decision-making, and tailoring management plans to each patient’s individual needs and circumstances.
